    I received this item today and at first thought it would not fit. I assumed it was just a tad to small and didn't't want to force it and damage the case. I messaged seller and explained my dilemma. I received a prompt response. I tried again to fit the iPad in the case, this time as if I were putting a case on a phone and it fit; very snugly.
