Nice little coffee maker for that first cup of coffee

Well I purchased this prior to Christmas as a present for my wife and was initially disappointed as it was supposed to be new but turned out to be a Amazon return in a very beat up box and dirty/dusty inside. As it was too late to return due to the seller dragging out communication I kept it to see if it worked after being cleaned up.

I am actually pleased with how the coffee maker functions, it makes an amazing two cup brew in the morning using whole beans and the grinder (only way to go). It produces some of the fullest bodied flavor coffee I have ever been able to make at home.

Clean up is a bit of a bear, it is contained to the top removable grinder and screen area but is just messy to rinse and remove the grinds, but I am not sure how this could be improved on. The grounds are so fine they do flush easily down the sink however.

Anyway I like the function and cup of coffee the machine produces. The more we use it, clean up has become less of an issue. Read full review
