Pimsleur method is good for developing basic communications in a new language quickly

This set of disks follows the Pimsleur standard dialogue development. I've only gotten a little way into the course so far. I have found that the speed of the speaking delivery is a little faster than other products from Pimsleur I've tried...Spanish, Russian, Japanese and Chinese. Could be that's what is needed for Portugal. Overall, I am pleased with the product.
