CHEAP Tinny LATCHES.

The flip latches that secure top lid are stiff hard to open & cheaply made. Sub par
quality , not typical DeWalt standard. So shame on you for cutting corners on metal latch. But assume DeWslt co. Is well aware which shoddy latch is reflected on the bargain price. Should be tough not flimsy tinny junk.

Great Toolbox BUT NO HANDLES FOR STAIRCASES

It’s a nice toolbox with many good compartments for organization needs. Spacious and can hold a lot of various sized tools. However there isn’t a stationary handle bar on the top or sides for easy lifting up staircases or into the back of a lifted truck making it VERY DIFFICULT TO HAUL AROUND. As my first day of use I found that I would have to put the handle pole down and LUG IT DOWN AND UP 3 FLIGHTS OF STAIRS ON MY BACK! It’s hard to hold anything else at the same time even just a water bottle. At first I couldn’t get it opened in a smooth motion- it kept stopping half way trying to open the sucker up. I used bicycle chain lube in all the sliding mounts- thereafter, it opened without a struggle. I will have to attach a handlebar on the top and sides to make it more functional for stair use as I’m a trade student and the campus has many flights of stairs from the parking lot! I also noticed that while walking with the pole handle that the handle wasn’t quite long enough to comfortably roll behind me- that being said because it’s so wide it kept knocking into my shoes and causing me to slow down dramatically or it would tip on the wheel and stop altogether. This made traveling from A to B slower and irritating.

The perks- you can fit a lot of tools in the 3 compartments. I like the design and the lids close secure. The center console has 3x3” smaller compartments for the smaller stuff. The bottom is open for larger items or materials. The top has a removable tray and and open bottom below it.

However had I known there wasn’t a few grabable handles and the handle pole was too short (I’m only 5’5”- so you’d have to be shorter than me to have this rolling behind you at a good pace), I would have purchased a more expensive tool box because the cons of this product make my experience using it more difficult, less comfortable, and irritating. Must have work station

This is the best workstation to date! It’s roomy. It’s portable. It has a locking feature. It is lightweight. It’s the perfect workstation for those must have tools right at hand. Small items like screws and bolts don’t get lost like in a traditional tool box And it’s backed by DeWalt lifetime warranty! Awesome!!!!

Space saving and durable

Great for combining several tool boxes/containers into one mobile unit. Ideal for contractor trailers but is working well out of the back of my truck. Perfect storage

This thing it great, I have my dewalt cordless circular saw, sawsall, rotary cutter, 90 degree drill, hammer drill, 2-1/4 impacts, regular drill, angle grinder just in the bottom section, middle has blades, bits, shafts, nut drivers, drill bits and a bunch more with the dividers. Best workmate EVER!

I repair lawn mowers and riders and I use this box to keep all my parts in. Mandrels blades and belts in the lower section and fuel cut offs and filters and small parts and nuts and bolts in the mid section, and oil filters and other misc. stuff in the top. And it all opens up and is all accessible in one quick movement and it's all put away just as fast. Plus it's easily moveable with the wheels and is also compact enough to fit behind the seat inside the cab of my Ford Ranger. Great and worth the buy.

Had a fun time opening it. I got it didn't look at how to open, had a fit. My daughter (9yr) old said dad put your foot here and she unlocked it. Lol. But after my cooldown.
