Works for me!
I think the cables are good quality. The connections fit into the scales very tightly (I do plan on tying them in where they can not fall out). One reviewer twisted about the smell of the cables... ??? They smell like rubbery-plastic. I've bought car parts that have the same smell. It's not like you can smell them across the room either, you have to have them 3 inches from your nose before you can smell them. I plan on a couple buying more.Read full review

china type caliper/scale plug
fits ok, looks good, but it's been over a week and I cant stand the smell of it, it's been out side for over a week now and smeeels so bad I cant bring it in my shop. Ill try in a few days to see if I can find some way to use it(cover up the smell so I can use it as I need it and a few more, but if I cant stand the smell I cant use it so I cant buy more & Ill have to 1 make my own, 2 hard wire the scales& calipers I'm glad I just bought 1 to make sure it was right....well it fits right ,but if I cant have it in my shop it is useless. how can something so small stink so bad. so the rating of yes yes ,and yes is very vague & miss leading, there 2~3x more $than they should cost, As for the quality?? well I cant use it due to the smell of whatever it was made out of so...I reckon that's a quality issue. And do I recommend it?? well it does fit and should do the job it's intended to do...but....if I can not breathe around it.....it's useless, if I cant work it cant work.. and my shop is full of things that have smells and odors, it's not just my nose. It's this item. I assume it came from china as all of their rubber products smell a lot, but this is 10x what they normally smell like. it is what it is.it will do the job, but I cant use it unless I can make the smell go away. I'll try to paint it& seal the odor in. yes it's that nasty. and I really need them as I do not like hard wiring.Read full review

temperamental connection
This connector and lead work fairly well, but the this type of connector relies on contacts pressing up against a circuit board contact pads on one side of the PCB, so i would say probably 95% of the time it is ok but occasionally does not result in a good connection. OK for hobby work, but for a connection that HAS to be totally reliable I would just solder wires directly onto the caliper PCB with a fine tip soldering ironRead full review
