I rate this as just an average stereo boom box. Decent CD sounds, but the radio tuning seems weak and there is no extendible antenna. Only the very nearest radio stations seem to be picked up well, but these do have relatively good quality sounds.Read full review

No jack for earphone ! Didn't play CD, either---didn't work

The headline says it all. A piece of junk. The "rave" reviews led me to buy this thing for a nursing-home patient (my brother), who is competent with items like this. He reported that it was totally useless. No jack for earphones; only a jack for speakers. This is not disclosed in the ad. What is the point of a small CD player without an earphone jack? But worst of all, when he put a CD in and connected the player to a speaker, it didn't work at all. Now he gets to throw the thing out because he can't mail boxed items, and I get to buy ANOTHER CD player, I hope one that works AND HAS AN EARPHONE JACK.Read full review

I wanted a simple CD player. This is okay, but not top of the line. I like the built in power cord in the battery compartment. Tuning and volume are balls, which are a bit odd. The sound is probably average. I unfortunately dropped the player and thankfully it still works, so it’s tougher than I thought it was.
