Nice but could be better
These speed loaders are made well but they sort of fit but they are not exact in how they fit. I have other speed loaders that fit so much better and release the shells without drag. These are nice but they just don’t fit the way that they are supposed to. These are for the Colt Python as stated on the package. My Colt is so nice and these don’t fit, lacking the same way that the Colt does.Read full review

The speed loader does not fit the new colt python 2022
Although this does indeed, say it is for the colt python, it does not work on the colt python 2022. Cylinder spacing on the new colt is slightly larger than that on the old one. The rounds bind up before they ever leave the speed loader. None of that is stated anywhere, and it’s advertisement. HKS always performs
Have used HKS speed loaders for decades. On duty in all sorts of weather. Never ever failed to function in any situation. If you carry a revolver and you must reload quickly, and with absolute certainty, HKS is what you need. No better Speedloader than HKS
I used HKS Speedloaders during my Law Enforcement Career in the 1980's, never had any problems with them, depended on them with my life. No Speedloader is quicker to use or more reliable.

When speed counts
These are much easier to use and much quicker than others I have had. They come in .44 and 45 Colt as well. Don't know how well they last, but you don't use speed loaders that often so I would rather have some that work even if they did not last, but that remains to be seen.Read full review

slightly modified speedloader
Got another two of these and they worked ok but i had some difficulty discharging the cartridges.
Turned out the housing was binding with my standard grips and to remedy this i modified all mine by chamfering the back so they cleared the grip by the smallest amount, the ejection is reliable now.Read full review
