Brilliant sound for hi res DSD vinyl rips
This unit can reveal even subtle differences in turntable setup like VTA, tonearm cable changes, cartridges, Tonearms etc. I’m mainly using it to test equipment, but the quality of vinyl rips it delivers is simply amazing.
I’d be tempted to leave them in 5.6Mhz DSD as these sound fabulous. If you need to convert to other formats to play them back the Korg Audiogate software makes this easy.
A major step up from using a USB musicians interface like a Focusrite.

Dissapointed it' can't be used as a stand alone Phono PreAmp, or that the only way to use the preamp, equalization curves are via Audiogate. Got word that it uses PCM to apply the curve to DSD inputs.... why?
