This model is great for my purposes. I am studying neurobiology and the model is helpful because it includes mid brain regions Excellent disassembled to study the brain regions, in simplified cross section. Good price
A child or teen may find it frustrating. The pieces don't fit that well. The manufacturer suggests 8+. I think I would have been a pretty frustrated 8 year old!Read full review

I did have great expectations, but when I received and I tried to put together it was difficult and some pieces did not fit correctly. The size of the product is too small for many pieces. The pieces do not remain in place.
