GaGa Award for Super Fun & Educational!

Alphabet Alligators is a super cute educational toy! It's very well-made and great for kids ages 2 to 6 to play with and learn from. There are 13 alligators in five different colors: red, green, purple, orange, and blue. All 26 letters are represented on the 13 alligators. For example, the blue alligator that has the upper and lowercase letter A to match also has the upper and lowercase letter N on its other side. I got these for my two two-year-old grandchildren and they play with it when they're in their high chairs while I'm getting their meals ready. I typically pick five different colored alligators and pull them apart, put them in a basket, and have them ready for them when they get two meals. Obviously they're putting the alligators together by matching colors but they're also starting to learn letters as we talk about the letters on the alligator's sides. Then they trade baskets when they're finished and play again. They love them! As they begin to learn more letters, I plan to carefully select which alligators to give them so they will have to match the alligators by letters and not just colors. For example, the letters C & P are on one red alligator and the letters H and U are on a different red alligator so in order to put those alligators back together correctly, they'll have to match by letters. Anyway, this is a super great toy that can be used in a lot of different ways and I highly recommend it!Read full review
