MTD 918-04512B Spindle Assembly

Slight dissappointment with he new part.

The old part had a grease fitting for easy lubrication. The new part had no grease fitting but the unit probably has sealed bearings. Problem is when the seals wear out dirt will enter the unit and tear it apart. Poor design.Read full review

Bad deal for a quick fix

Good Price but a terrible product. No threads to mount and no grease fitting. Had to tap threads, buy new bolts, drill and tap for grease fitting. Sad what is sold to the public these days.

Not true OEM part

Bolts not included and holes not treaded like oem part. Product worked ok but much harder to installed.

Only complaint is it did not come with bolts/nuts and the size of those are smaller than the original part on the mower. A lot of time wasted on finding the right size after assuming they would be exactly the same size Read full review
