I prefer Nutivia Coconut oil to most others. It's a bit more pricey, but it does last quite a long time.
I use it to remove makeup, as a moisturizer, use it on the ends of my hair before using a straightener, give my Golden Retrievers a teaspoon every morning. Also, I run this on my horses' manes and tails, especially in the winter, keeps their manes and tails from becoming brittle. I've just recently started using on their hooves also! Not good for the skin

I mainly bought this to use on my skin however I am disappointed as it does not absorb and moisturize well. I am guessing the processing of this would serve mainly for cooking.

Used for everything

This is a good product I mostly used for cooking but also on my skin. One concern for the skin is it absorbs into the skin very quickly

Not sure about the texture of the product on this recent order.

I have used Nutiva for quite awhile and in the past the texture has always been very smooth and light. This order is heavier with tiny pieces of ground up coconut in it. Any explanation for this?????
