Flexible, robust little "full computer" including a browser and WiFi.
Surely everyone knows what a Raspberry Pi is. Fit in your hand, costs around $50, runs a robust version of linux (Debian). The 3B runs at about 1.2Ghz and when outfitted with the appropriate memory can support at least 4GBytes. The 3B+ is faster and has additional hardware support.
All of the Pi machines have multiple external pins which can easily be controlled vi the python package. Mine operates the gate across my driveway.Read full review

good but not great
sbc are limited and for what you pay its not too bad considering size but you can get a much more powerful used desktop for a bit more. all that said it's compact and easy to use so that's the trade off. I used the Batocera gaming OS and was underwhelmed with the performance. not for everyone but if you're wanting to play some retro games before the PlayStation/N64 era you're covered. kinda slow especially when you're adding games to it. I recommend spending more and getting a Pi 4Read full review
Great little thing!
I’m impressed by power, speed and features of this little computer size of a playing cards deck. Only wish there were better device and software support for this device. Still enjoy continuing to learn it.Read full review

I had to order a new pi since my original one got fried, I hit the 5v and grnd together with a wire and the whole system wouldnt turn on. Every where i looked pi's were either out of stock or 75$.
Here on ebay I got it for 50$ and its great.
Had some issues with shipping due to the holidays it seems like but its all good.
This is a more advanced computer though, best with linux.Read full review

Great for Mobile MediaCenter
I purchased this Raspberry Pi for use as a mobile media center that I can take with me in the car or on trips.
I got it up and running quickly with LibreELEC and Kodi a 32GB microSD Card I had laying for the OS a 32GB USB Flash Drive for videos. Running with just a 5000mah USB Battery and no case I was able to watch a full HD movie without the battery even breaking a sweat.
The UI does start to slowdown a little when it has to upconvert a video file read from the USB and without a heat sink, but the movie stream was smooth the whole way through. I suspect that the addition of a Heatsinked case and / or some minor overclocking I could overcome this issue easily.
All in all this device worked great for my purposes. I will most likely be buying several more of these units for us in some small scale web appliances I want to run around the house.Read full review

Nice upgrade
I upgraded from my Pi3 with this for streaming media to my TV and it works great. The wifi was always weak on the old Pi3 board (so I used a USB-wifi adapter). This new Pi 3 B+ is much better - the wifi works with the onboard adapter and it works much faster (802.11ac dual band). This was a significant upgrade from the Pi3.Read full review

Pi as webserver for ip cam
I'm using my Pi as server for my home IP camera with RTSP stream using Motion for writing all movements to the microSD. Works 24/7, not heated, OS is stable, almost everything is good. Videos get low frame rate due to Pi's processor(comparing to my PC), though it is expected. Mayby Pi3 would show better result. The only disapointment of this bying was that almost in a week after it Pi 3 was released at the same price;)Read full review

Easy and Cool
It's an RPi 3B+. Put the SD card from my old RPi 3B in and set it's MAC in my router and it worked like a charm. I haven't had any problems and it does seem to be a tad faster.
I read there was a heat problem but just acting as a video server it runs at only 32°C without all of that fancy fan stuff.Easy and Runs CoolRead full review

Great piece of hardware to work on it
Since is my first time with raspberries i can't talk much. Im interested into ensamble a mini HT/Console with Retropie and Kodi. I recommend to buy a 32gb class 10 microsd (as i did) and the 5v 2Amp charger is A MUST, with other chargers i get a Thunderbolt icon on the right top of the screenRead full review
