Revell Chevy Nova SS 2 in 1 25/1 Plastic Model Kit - 852098

Killer looks! Not too radical.

Wanted the hoods for other projects. Don’t like resin alternatives too well. I like the height of these. Enough to have “street functionality”, but not so tall to look ridiculous. Scrape the bottom to thin down the bulk and make it more scale correct. Shave off the rear lip even with the rest of the hood, then create flanges to be able to set in other hoods and smooth out. Great model

Bought one of these to replicate the Nova from "Death Proof" it was easy enough to assemble, seems accurate enough, looks really nice completed, it's hard to go wrong with Revell.
