QO Dual Function breaker (with neutral)
The Square D QO brand has long been the premier brand in the industry, and this dual function breaker holds up to that standard. It doesn’t have any lighted LEDs for diagnostic purposes, but as long as the neutral remains isolated on the circuit this breaker is exceptional. The GFCI part of the breaker trips nicely when a GFCI tester is used on the circuit. The only challenge with all of Square D smart breakers is the long frame which reduces available area for wiring in the panel. The last project we used this breaker on it serves to meet Arc Fault requirements for the lighting and outlets for a master bed, and then also provided GFCI protection for Master Bathroom canlights over the shower.Read full review

Good combination breaker
Combo AFCI / GFCI to update existing circuit. Works as expected, just wish I remembered I had a plug on neutral panel before I ordered. Works the same with neutral pigtail on the breaker, just makes panel messier.Read full review

Dual function is the way to go.
I heard that the dual purpose breakers are now required in new installations to meet code. I haven’t verified that, but a home inspector told me this.
It would be nice if these had a little longer pigtail on them for use in the 200 amp panels with 42 slots. These are a good protective breaker and I recommend them.
