serveillance tech just keeps getting better while price drops
Astonishingly good price, autosetup cameras (plug and go), H.265 video means ~2X HDD time capacity over H.264. NVR is a linux box. Negatives: on China time one day ahead of US, haven't figured out how to tweak it yet. Must purchase and install your own HDD, which is trivial but still a nuisance. For best life, purchase a brand new drive intended for surveillance use such as WD Purple series. They're made for 24/7 service and will outlast anything for a PC. Another nuisance: the system is capable of 8 cameras but I bought a 4 camera set. Looks like mine are 5/6/7/8 meaning I have to use the 8 cam setup with 4 blank channels rather than just displaying the first four. Grrrr... Still experimenting with this system, haven't tested the internet & smartphone access yet. Note that cameras are powered from a local AC outlet via supplied adapter, but that's exactly what I wanted.Read full review

The overall quality of this camera system is amazing for the price. The picture is super clear during the day and night. It does record video, as it says as long as you set the timer. Get more then your moneys worth
The camera's work great and I was surprised by how far I could put the camera's from the NVR (about 1/2 acre) and still have good reception. Very ez set up just need extension cords for cameras

Very unsatisfied buyer
Them item arrive and was missing half the items . Then the nvr system was locked and no password was given so I can't use it. Also one of the cameras that did come did not work. So in all I got a broke nvr a bike camera and 4 missing camera out of a 8 ch 8camera system. Would not recommend to anyone to buy from the company or item .Read full review

Good system great price but shouldn't sell without HDD in it.
It's a good system but it will not work without a hard drive so if you buy the one without be prepared to buy a HDD for it.
