I bought 2 of them 1 to control the Hot Water And 1 to control the Towel Rail. They are very change from an existing Fused Spur and easy to set up on the WiFi via the App.

I am more than happy with these switches and App has lots of features they work even better than I expected with the added advantage of the functions that work with my immersion heater when the heater is timed on but is off because the water temperature has been reach the app shows standby and the red light on the switch flashes when it is heating it is solid red and the app shows green. The App also has a usage history and summary this shows the time on versus the time actually heating. This function works by detecting when current is being drawn so would work for other appliances too. I am very very happy with the Quality and Functionality of these switches and I would certainly recommend them A1 👍👍👍Read full review

Smart in more ways than one.

Boxed with good packaging to keep the item safe in transit.
The white is white and is exactly as seen in the picture.

Installation is simple enough (I'm no electrician but the instructions are clear).

The app download is easy but you wifi must be 2.5hz otherwise will not connect. Programmed for operation was simple and relatively easy did it in under 10min.

Cons: the screws that come with the item are standard length but I needed extra long so had to pop out to the shop to get some to fit as the spur switch is quite thick. It is also bulky from behind so you will need a good cavity in its installation.

It comes with adjustable wire feed space so you can have thick/medium/slim cabling. Small bonus!

It will save me money as now I can control when the water heating element for the sink comes on and off. I can control it from the app on my phone - how smart is that!

Good, but

I'm using this to control a bathroom extract fan so it runs 15 hours a day (not 24), it's mounted in the attic. The advantage over an ordinary programmable timer is it can be adjusted without going up into the loft.
The The tricky part was getting the app set up as the switch works on 2.4GHz wifi where my phone only works on 5GHz wifi - to get the two talking I had to hack the router and switch off 5GHz - a real faff. Ideally products like this should be designed for one of the existing smart home protocols. Once over that hurdle the product works fine.Read full review

Great switch

Brought this item to replace my out of date timer switch for the immersion heater . standard installation as you would expect to wiring in the the mains.
Just had a bit of trouble contacting to the wifi but called the helpline and it was sort in 5 minutes. and now very happy. The only down full it doesn't work with alexa or Google home as advertised by the company how makes the switch. i only found this out when i connected the helpline

I use a towel rail at 150 watts, I expected to see the towel rail internal stat switch with the usage option, but I do not see this, maybe the towel rail stat never switches off during the time I have it on.Read full review

I had get a wizard to change my internet setting to 2.4 ghz before it would connect but was able once connected to change it back to 5ghz all is now working
