Surprisingly good
I bought these because I needed some pads that are better than the basic ones that come with many bikes. I also sometimes have to ride in the rain, and anyone who has ever done that on a bike with pad brakes knows why I needed something better.
These are doing the job pretty well so far. I put a set on the front brakes of a new bike. I'm not a petite little thang, and I need good brakes. Just using a set on the front brought down the stopping distance very well. I am buying another set for the rear. So far, I've only ridden in the rain once, and I didn't ride fast, so I don't know how well they'll help stop at higher speeds, but at low speeds, they so far have served me well. And NO squeal!

VERY bright for how small it is!
The unit itself is pretty small once you see it in person, but in spite of its size, it's exceptionally bright. I haven't used mine at night yet, but I tested it indoors by leaving it on for a few hours while I was doing other wiring for my bike, and it didn't get very warm at all. The outer case is made of anodised aluminum and serves as a large heat sink for the LEDs.
If I could send a message to the manufacturer, I'd ask that they make the mount so that it can be swiveled. You have to find just the right spot on your handlebars to mount this to get optimum distance coverage. I can probably fabricate something, but the average user doesn't like to modify everything they get their hands on.

Very bright!
Small overall size gives better mounting options
Unit stays cool due to good design
Cons
Would be even better with a swivel mount

The good ones
I like that these are not only much tougher than the POS zinc ones Toyota put on my car, but they're also a little taller. Between those two things, these are much less likely to strip compared to the cheapo Toyota ones.
