Better than expected!
7 of 8 found this helpful The first thing you notice as you remove the parts from the box is how lightweight it is. While this is a plus for installation and mounting, it also means that the parts are delicate. I would recommend mounting this unit indoors, such as in the attic, or in a protected or covered area if outdoors.
Use care and take your time assembling the unit, don't force the parts or over-tighten the screws, and you'll have no problems. The instructions are clear (only five steps) and easy to follow. Though my unit came one screw short, the procedure was painless and only took about ten minutes.
Once assembled the unit showed it's power by picking up sixteen stations, all clear and strong, while sitting by the TV, even before mounting on a pole. Where I live, that's much better than I expected.
Overall, I would certainly recommend this unit to anyone who wants to pick up some local stations and avoid the high cost of other TV services. If the unit were made a little tougher, it would be excellent.
