2 of 2 found this helpful It's only been a couple of weeks since I received the amp, so my perspective is not as qualified as it will be in six months.
I'm using this to power two different pairs of recording studio monitors:
-Yamaha NS10Ms,
-Tannoy Super Gold Reference 15s.
This amp was chosen primarily to replace a fabulous Parreaux 8000C stereo amp (for the Tannoys) whose fan is too noisy for my room. Having four channels in 1 rack space enabled me to thin down my amp rack by 5U!
So far, I can say the amp is very quiet, has fast recovery on transients, and satisfies my requirement of very low THD. Bass reproduction is super tight, especially through the Tannoys.
The Parreaux is like a Ferrari, so, it's hard to make a direct comparison. But the Crown seems to be holding its own and surely puts a smile on my ears.
