One of the best Civil War Movies based "border war" Missouri/Kansas Ever !!!!.......
This movie had more to offer besides war. It had family. A very difficult time period those 2 states who had mixed feelings about the war, slavery. Confederate soldiers had some help with food ect; By southern families. Some throughout the winter........

1 of 1 found this helpful Based on a true story, this movie had it all "4 1/2 STARS" LOVED IT !!!/// THE TRUE DESCENDES OF THE FAMILY PLAYED THERE ANCESTERS, LIKE GREAT,GREAT, GRANDSON like 4 generations. A "CIVIL WAR GEM" a "LOVE STORY"and a great Drama/War/Love..."..... Thumbs up !!!!
