the slingerland drum book by rob cook
1 of 1 found this helpful as a slingerland owner and player, this book is an excellent reference for some of the most excellent drums ever built. i'm fortunate enough to own a 60's 3 ply shell kit in green glass glitter, a 60's COB eight lug festival snare, and a chicago built maple single ply radio king snare. i wouldn't know what to look for without without rob cook's book as a guide. i keep it here by my computer for when i am "cruising" ebay for "vintage slingerland drums". this is a great book for any slingerland fan and it gives great insight as well to the history of a great drum company and it's well known drummers and endorsers. i have no earthly idea how anyone can "swing" without a great set of slingerlands. thank you rob cook.
