A JRPG that is more dungeon-like than others.
This game in one that I enjoy very much ever since I played another one in another system. This game is part of a series of 4 games, 2 and 3 are directly connected and the 4th one is somewhat connected. The first game is not connected to the other 3. While this game (2) is in Japanese as well as its direct sequel (3), I enjoyed it as much as the 4th one which was released in english. The game and the series as a whole resemble the Etrian Odyssey games in the way the characters fight the monsters in the game. You move from area to area to clear them of monsters but without the map building of the Etrian series. You can customize the characters you play as somewhat; color palette, class, and voice actor(Japanese only). I have played about halfway through the game, which I believe is about 40 hours and I still enjoy the gameplay cycle of clearing zone/areas in a turn-based way.
