DC24 brush motor spigot incompayability
The motor and drive belt system are of good quality and fitting dimensions, however the "tri-wing" brush drive spigot did not fit my brush roller (it had a longer cylindrical locating spindle). I rectified this problem by transplanting the "tri-wing" from my old unit (attached through the shaft by a removable screw).

Unsatisfactory features
The product has the appearance of a well made poduct however the manufacturing dimensions of the cable lengths and the poor quality cast quality of the cable drum let the product down. I had to re-swage the cable terminations to make the long cable shorter by 9pm (lukily the cable was too long allowing this modification. The cable drum motor splines did not fit to the motor drive. I suspect the wrong component had been packed in the kit.
