Very pleased with this classic Bose Wave AM/FM radio DC player!
1 of 1 found this helpful I wanted the original model because playing a CD in the subsequent & current models requires you to slip the CD in through a slot on the front rather than simply flipping up the lid on top; I think it will be easier to repair, if necessary, the CD player component on this top-loading model. I also like the fact that you don't have to use the remote control to operate the this model, so when the remote control's battery dies, you still can enjoy this Bose Wave before replacing the battery. I live in a brick NYC apartment building, but am getting great reception in my bedroom on both the AM and FM bands. And the sound is definitely superior to the cheaper SONY clock radio-CD player that was in my bedroom.
The unit I received from bestpick2717 was in absolutely pristine condition, so if you see that he has the Bose Wave model you want, don't hesitate to make the purchase from him!
