In many case when you have a clogged hose or just a pipe you will have all the water from your roof goes into the fuse box, located almost on the passenger side. This may cause some errors and the worst is the car dies, it turns over, but no spark. It is good idea to check you fuse box. To check it you need to take it out and inspect it for a water damage. If you have any rust or discoloring around the sockets replace the whole fuse box with a proper one.
