Bicycle chain cleaner
This stuff makes the dirt fall off. Not the cheapest but it is amazing and usually used for motorbikes but works a treat.

Best commuter bag EVER.
I’m an old git and have cycled for 30 years in Italy, Amsterdam and London. I normally got through a rucksack every 18 months! The quality of this bag is 👌. I stopped another commuter with the same bag the other day, as you do, and asked what he thought of it and he said his was 7 years old and still perfect!
It’s comfortable, secure and waterproof. Which means no silly waterproof covers to put on and take off in the rain. WIN!
