Great Zildjian ride and it sweet, distinct and cuts through nicely. Fair price.

Classic drum sounds good as new
Given that it's a 1965 drum It's in nice shape. The snare throw takes a little coaxing to engage because of normal wear. I don't consider It to be a problem. The drum has nice response and would be fine for a wide range of musical styles. It isn't an especially loud instrument. I recently purchased a 70s Acrolite also. The 70's model sounds dull compared to this 1965 beauty. Nice buy!

Powerful, responsive

Want to drag the sticks for a bit of fat back? Oh yea that too. Want to play it like a marching drum? This mutha will spray your rudiments all over the place like Machine Gun Kelly!
