Scotty rod holder clamp on model 449-BK
This is a very well put together rod holder. Pros: well built, can be placed just about anywhere you need a rod holder on a portabote. Cons: because it is well built, it is massive, and relatively heavy. If you are putting this on a canoe or kayak look at the specifics of its weight and size before you buy. I found that spacers were required to bring it's orientation to 90 degrees to the gunwale. This was accomplished by placing half inch plywood spacers on the outside side of my portabote.
