Cheap. Only 52 watts. Probably good enough for the simple stuff.
This is an inexpensive device. The tiny illumination light is an actual incandescent bulb—how very quaint, haven’t seen one of those in forever. It hums when it runs. When it is first turned on draws 70 watts, and immediately drops to 52 watts. So, not actually 100 watts at all. Probably good enough for some simple home hobbiest uses. If your expectations are low, it will be fine.

Wonderful for getting to polish
This 3M Trizact on Foam does a great job on all metals taking a 1500 well sanded finish to a nice shiny reflective polish. One disk lasts about 20 square inches on a hard metal (stainless) or more like 80 square inches on a soft (6061 aluminum). Additional polishing with any of my polishes does not do much or anything more. Their 5000 grit does not really do anything more than the 3000 does.
