An excellent option for DIY replacement in Volvo 5 cylinder engines.
These oil filters are just made for the 5 cylinder Volvo engines, in which there is a cartridge filter, with a re-usable steel cover. They are of excellent quality, and come with a new rubber gasket. Excellent for DIY installation, but it is very helpful if you have a special "wrench" to fit over the lower portion of the filter, to loosen it from its threads. These are available from IPD Volvo Parts in Portland, OR., for about $7. This filter price is about 50% of the normal retail level.

Best work gloves ever!
Although a bit pricey, these work gloves are lined with soft fleece, so they cushion shock and keep warm in the winter. And, they are made of pigskin which is the most durable leather. And finally, the palm leather and the thumb leather are one piece with no seam, so that the palm does not rip out from the thumb after the first week of real work! Cowhide leather gloves will not take the gaff of real, continued work for very long. I am 81 years old, and know these things!

Maxell watch batteries
They seem to be good, long-lasting Watch Batteries. No problems after the first month, but they are so small that they are hard to install into the watch. Of course, they have to be that way. . . . .
