Good portable radio for under $300..
1 of 2 found this helpful Compared to the original ATS909 or DX398, this new model is vastly superior in AM reception barefoot. It takes well to external antennas also. Controls are similar to the 909X and are well placed. My only gripe...even with the 073 firmware my set still has volume issues with SSB.
If you can live with the SSB quirks, it is a great radio. I was able to tune to any station my rspdx identified on SW and FM and AM DX coupled with both select-a-tenna and quantum loop was able to pick 2-3 stations per frequency! Sometimes more. Works for me.

Very good overview of traditional hulled architecture.
Although dated, basics remain just that, basics! This is a short, concise overview of naval architecture. Not alot of computer design stuff and geared towards traditional hulled vessels. A value for the density of information from a vert well respected member of sname.

It works like a good phone should!
2 of 2 found this helpful This phone does what it's supposed to do plus has decent additions. Being an old timer means a phone should be a phone first and foremost. This one does that well. Good antenna and being 5g means it is well positioned for years to come. With the better than average camera, internet for data, hotspot for business and external sd card and beinga Samsung means long term updates make for a winner.
