Beautiful Oriental style Dragon
For me, the box doesn't matter. However, the CONTENTS were awesome and completely in tact. I built a beautiful Oriental style dragon, which I prefer to the European winged style. The Dragon was a bit more challenging and took longer to complete than the Botanicals I usually build, but I enjoyed the challenge. I'm very happy with my beautiful Oriental style LEGO creation.

All smoke and no fire
2 of 3 found this helpful This book is all about different techniques, which may be just what some beginners need. There are diagrams of the various techniques, but there are almost NO instructions on how to make specific flowers. There are lovely pictures of vintage flowers which can serve as inspiration,There are only specific instructions for five projects, all little lapel pins. I was hoping to add this book to my collection of truly instructional books (the kind that have specific flowers with the construction instructions and sometimes step by step colored pictures). This book is a disappointment. Again, if written instructions are enough for you to learn a new skill then this book is for you. I need pictures of flowers and directions on how to make them. French beaded wire flowers have become a passion for me and I am always looking for new flowers to explore and construct. This is an Art Form that requires patience and diligence, but the rewards of making a beautiful flower out of wire covered in tiny beads is sooooo worth the effort. I'm hooked for life!
