Great product but years past best use by date
1 of 1 found this helpful I recently bought this product at one of the TJX stores and loved it. I have tried so many moisturizers I didn't love so I was super disappointed to learn it had been discontinued. I have really really dry skin and this was a great, long lasting moisturizer with little to no scent. Because it had been discontinued I decided to look online to see if I could find a few more to keep in reserve for when my two jars ran out. Of course because it was discontinued I wasn't expecting to buy factory fresh, but the one I purchased here (according to the product code) had been manufactured in 2016, so it was well past the 36 month recommended use by time for beauty products. I don't mind a little but 6 years from manufacture and 3 years past use by is just too much. The box even looked old which is what initially tipped me off to look further. So I would recommend buyers ask sellers for the product code at the bottom of the box (if the seller doesn't provide it) and use their judgement on whether or not they want to take the chance with something meant to go on their face.

Wish it had an off switch
3 of 4 found this helpful Even though there is a knob on this model, for some reason it only turns high or low there is no way to actually turn it off. So you plug it in, turn it up and it cooks great. But after you're done all you can do is turn it down to low and unplug it. I had wanted to buy one for my mother but she would never go for that, seems kind of dangerous really.
