Poor rejection, subject to intermod issues !

Radio seems to exhibit issues with selectivity / rejection, as I have encountered intermod. Receiver seems sensitive. Power output was varied, as values discribed differed. Especially on UHF. Also noted that radio transmits RFI, while in receive mode, to near by HF transceiver ! Radio may be better suited strictly for mobile use only, as using a base antenna, may exacerbate intermod issues. Scan function is only single band, as trying to initiate scan for second band, halts scan ! Also fan direction blows into unit, with no provisions for venting, as only holes are for mobile mounting bracket ! Hopefully, these are growing pains, and this brand will correct these, and I'm sure, other over sights.
