Comfy sound
I refuse to pay a huge amount for something I could lose...these headphones are comfortable with pretty nice sound and at an affordable price.

A timeless bouncy ball with a new use for me
I played with these in elementary school when they first came out. However, now I have an ulterior use for it, a friction mallet. As a percussionist I have a piece called, The Cave You Fear which uses these mallets on timpani and gong. The sound created is awesome! The price to buy the mallet drives me to create my own. This seems to fit my needs.
Yes, I bounced it and was reminded of fun times over a half a century ago. Alas, I no longer have access to large tiled bathrooms in which to throw the ball and giggle as it hits my friend rather than me.
