Worth The Read
1 of 1 found this helpful The version of the stories being told in folk lour and then the facts being presented was fantastic. Loved the approach. My family is from Mitchell County North Carolina. Some of the stories I have heard before and hearing facts held my attention. The stories a had never heard kept me spell bound. The book is well worth the read.

Great book, you never know when we will have to go back to the old ways.This book teaches everything you ever wanted to know about perservin meat.

Vegan's not bad!
I'm not finished reading the entire book. I keep going back and trying different recipe's. The recipes are good.
