No Broken Pins
Replaces my original that I inadvertently broke a pin when cleaning it. The pins in these are very stiff and have very little flexibility. I was using a QTip to clean between pins and snapped one off. Just run fresh water to clean. They are sealed and are water tight.

Stylish durability and protects well. Pick and Pluck Foam is handy and can be swapped out for a custom foam insert that better protects your specific item. The ability to use a padlock or dual padlocks to secure your item within the Pelican 1170 in a way that makes using a bolt cutter difficult to to cut the locks to access the contents.
