last one did well so going for it again
Maybe it is good luck. It hasn't snowed since we got it:) I make the recommendation from the previous one that we owned. Unfortunately after 4 or 5 years the motor lost some of its windings and power with a burnt smell. Cost as much to repair as to buy new.
I was skeptical of an electric powered snow blower.d It works much better than the two cycle, doesn't stall, don't have to jerk your arm to start it when cold, and you don't have to mess with the two cycle gas.
The part where it doesn't stall could be it's problem as it did burn up on a large and heavy snow day. But, we used it for years without problems. The new one seems to have some of the minor issues fixed like hardware vibrating loose.
4 star because you still have power cord management and the new blade or auger part doesn't have rubber edges and I am concerned that the thing will break if is hits the edge of a heaved sidewalk or drive section. We will see.

Definitely worth the money and another great Vortex product.
It is a vortex. It is a very good product. It is well made and has a very rugged well made feel to it. It is easy to adjust. It is very clear especially at the price point. As my eyes have gotten older, I do not see to the level that the scope can produce an image.
It is a FFP (First Focal Plane scope). If you have not used one or are not real familiar with this type of scope and look, you should use a friends or at the least look through one and adjust the range to get comfortable with the scope.
The Reticle changes sizes with the magnification. I cannot see the reticle graduations unless it is at almost full magnification. Which by the way is when it is most important. But a lower magnifications the image is not what I was expecting. This is the only reason for not providing a 5 star. To be fair, part of the problem is my older eyes. I think it is a great scope and you should definitely consider this scope if you are looking for a FFP scope with this magnification

just put on, no longevity to support yet
they are well made sights. Not that difficult to mount. The fiber most definetly pulls in low light.for better visibility. The tritium behind the fiber glows nice in dark. Much better visibility on these than the tritium sights that are on glock, Sig, CZ S&W. The rear dots are spaced a little further apart than the factory sights on the Shield 9mm so a little prctice will be required to get used to that. I have no idea if they will last like the sights mentioned above. But, I was pleasantly surprised at the amount of visibility that came for the night sights and low light with the fiber was an improvement.
