Alesis Andromeda A6 Analog Polysynth w/PCMCIA Card & Manual EXCELLENT CONDITION

Still nothing to beat this monster polyanalog synths

Andromeda is legendary and already classic polyanalogue. I have one for 8 years in continuous operation and second bought for backup. Actually never used it, as A6 turned to be extremely stable synth for studio. No chance that I would gig with it, as this machine require certain degree of babysitting in order not to die (per some reports of other users). First, I feed it with clean and stabile power, keep it in clean, temperature controlled studio and never physically move or abuse it. It seems that machine is alive, as it never created any single issue, although I expected some hangs or freezeng etc. Nothing of a kind, just some small quirks with MIDI, nothing that would put me off, furthermore I have more problems with some new digital synths, not to mention PC DAWs and plugins. All in all, this is historical piece of technology, it requires love and share love. Together with Jupiter 8, Prophet 5 and Oberheim OBX it creates my front line of analogue synths for producing electronic music. Digisynths or plugins are for different purposes, they are versatile, but mostly dead somehow. It is highly underrated synth at current prices, so catch them at 3000$ price, as they pop in from time to time.

BEWARE DOESN'T charge Ipad4 Mini

I don't know why, I have 5 or 6 of them in various lengths. My Ipad is not charged, tried with several wall chargers and via USB. Doesn't work for charge, but works for file transfers.
