Holds a charge and works fine--good deal for $5.98 (incl. shipping)
At first I was afraid it might be dead on arrival. Measured only 2.5 volts (for a battery rated 3.8v). When I plugged it in to the charger, at first the warning LED on the Moto-E phone flashed. But after a few minutes it started taking a charge. In a few hours it was up to 3.9+ volts. I tested it for longevity, and it took 3 days of mostly sitting to drain below 10%.
This is a Motorola original part. What you don't know is the production date. But mine is "so far so good." I bought it, because the last off-brand replacement that I bought lasted less than two years. After that it could not hold a charge for much more than a day.
I don't like cell phones, and mine mostly stays on my bureau connected to the charger. I take it with me when I drive somewhere, or on the infrequent trip. Otherwise I can do without the constant invasion of privacy and distraction. And at 72, I can afford that luxury. I feel sorry for the young people who have to stay tied to their cells, even to get texts from the kindergarten teacher.
Seems to be a good deal for someone looking for a cheap battery that works.

Unbelievable for the price
Very playable mouthpiece, and unbeatable for the price. After a few months I see a spot where the gold plating is fading, but what do you expect for under $5? Cup feels a lot like a Bach 7C. Easy to play. Definitely recommend.

Good sound, smooth operation
2 of 2 found this helpful This was a floor model that I paid $75 for. Arrived in original packaging with no outer box, but there was no damage. At first I thought it was DOA, because the CD door would not open or close. After reading manual, I realized the red LED over the power switch lights up when the device is turned OFF. A peculiar design feature, but once you know it, all is okay.
Works smoothly and the sound is terrific through my NAD amplifier-- in which the built-in CD has failed. I can enjoy my classical CDs again!
I've had it for two weeks now. The only question now is how long it will last. But for the price and quality It seems worth the risk.
