Expensive but doesn't snap and break easily.
It is expensive but it lasts quite long as it is not easy to break even while cutting through the thick bushes. So it's OK but I am looking for cheaper alternatives.
Once I finish the original cutting line, I'm planning to use regular copper or aluminum wire with a rubber coating, of matching gauge. I believe it would be cutting just fine. I will update this review when I actually switch to the cheap generic aluminum rubber coated wire.

Rack and pinion precise fence makes this saw a winner
2 of 2 found this helpful Rack and pinion precise fence makes this saw a winner.
The 60V 9Ah battery lasts for 10++ 2 meters long cuts of the hard wood 6cm thick. So it is good enough for most small projects. If you have a day long of wood cutting, you better have 2-3 spare batteries ready.
When it comes to power, this saw has enough power to cut through the hardest wood I could find without any problems. It really feels like corded saw with a lot of power.
Well built using all metal gears and parts. You won't be disappointed with this saw. It's superb.

Silverline 225mm fluted sole smoothing plane #4
Rosewood handles, quality steel fluted 225mm flat sole with perfect 90 to machined sides. Brass knob to tune the blade projection. The blade is only 2mm thin, which cannot compare to Veritas or Lee Nielsen thicker blades, however you can one day replace the blade with a thicker one. The blade holds sharp edge for reasonable time and amount of completed work.
I have Irwin Record smoothing plane #4 and I would say this Silverline smoothing plane #4 is the same quality as Irwin, and works even better than Irwin but maybe because of fluted sole which has less resistance on the surface, which I like.
Definitely very good value for the money and highly recommended.
