Great anthology of Italian stories and culture.
Excellent range of stories covering many authors and periods. Very informative author bio sketches included with each story. Insightful book intro by editor.

Irish nonfiction at its best.
Must read for Irish buffs — or anyone who enjoys good travel writing. Synge best known for his plays, but he was excellent prose writer, as well
