    Easy Way to Go From 5/16 to 3/8 Lines on E4OD
    I'm using this part on the E4OD transmission that I built and installed in my 1979 Ford F350 in place of the original C6. The transmission works great and having overdrive and a lock up converter is awesome. The only problem is that the transmission tended to run hot when I would tow my trailer using the original C6 lines, cooler and the cooler in the radiator. I decided to install a very large aftermarket cooler to go along with the one in the radiator and in doing all of this I also switched to a 3/8 instead of the stock 5/16 lines as used on the C6 and most E4OD's. This part allowed me to get the fittings I needed to go to a 3/8 line as well as adding some protection for the transmission if something would happen to the cooler. It's a genuine Ford part from what I can tell and it fit perfectly.

    Works Great.
    The tool is nice quality and it was easy to modify to use for a different purpose. I'm using it as an indicator holder in my camshaft grinding machine. When I got the machine it was missing so I had to make one. Buying this was a good start and then all I had to do was turn it down so that it would fit into the machine. It works perfectly. Nice readable dial indicator is also included.

    Heavy Duty Overdrive One Way Roller Clutch for E4OD
    I used one of these when I was repairing and upgrading my E4OD transmission. The part fit and worked perfectly to replace the existing overdrive sprag which was stock in my transmission. The roller clutch fits in the same spot as the sprag but was an upgrade/change made to the transmision for 1994 and up models. The one way roller clutch is made with a race that's about 1.5 times thicker than the race used with the sprag so this must be what increases strength in this area of the transmission. This overdrive one way roller clutch is the heavy duty version that's intended for use in motor home, superduty etc. As far as I can tell the only difference between this part and the F5TZ-7A089-A (regular one stock for everything else '95 up)is that this part has what appears to be different induction hardening of the inner and outer race. If you want the heavy duty version for your transmission this is it.
