LA Sax "Big Lip" Alto Pro Model
I am a professional saxophonist and bought this sax from Jay Beckenstein of Syro Gyra fame, when he retired . I used it as my personal horn and found it to be and incredible when coupled with a metal #7 MPC. Best tone for Jazz solos and back up for big bands or large groups. It is a powerful horn and rugged enough for continuous all night gigs. Screamin" high register notes, yet mellow for intricate lower register chords. You will enjoy your embochure development after using it for a few weeks. Beautiful chops. The Blk Lacqeur and gold keys make it an attractive horn as well. Watch out Selmer and Yani.!!
