Excellent CD changer
6 of 6 found this helpful Very easy to use. When inserting multiple discs, the player automatically plays all of them. My old changer had to be pre-programmed to play all. I can play discs in different formats (WMA, MP3, etc.) and it handles them all flawlessly. It changes discs quickly and is mechanically quiet when doing so. The green fluorescent display is attractive and easy to read. Highly recommended.

Outstanding bang for the buck
1 of 1 found this helpful Sliders is filed with action, tongue in cheek humor and some occasional social commentary. The characters are very engaging. Even though it's a sci-fi series, it's very character focused. The visual effects hold up surprisingly well for a series produced on a modest budget over 20 years ago.
This a Mill Creek release. They specialize in repackaged, budget friendly releases of movies and TV shows, This is where I dock it one star. There are more episodes per disc than the original studio releases, meaning a reduced bit rate which yields a softer image. The picture quality is acceptable. I have watched the whole first season and there were no bonus features. There may be some yet. I'll see as I move through the whole series. The disc menus are bare bones.
I like the packaging. It's a slipcover with 8 cardboard sleeves holding two discs each. The sleeves are tight fitting, so the discs won't fall out when you pull out a sleeve. The whole series only takes up 1 inch of shelf space.
I never missed an episode of this when it originally aired, and I'm happy to say I'm enjoying it as much, if not more, than I did back then. It holds up well.
If you are willing to put up with slightly reduced image quality in a bare bones package, you will get many hours of great entertainment at an incredibly low price.

A lot of music making power at a small price.
Huge bang for the buck. Perfect for adding some unusual digital spice to your sound. It's also capable of creating warm, analog type tones. The control panel is easy to use and the OLED display gives valuable feedback when programming. In paraphonic mode, it acts like a four voice polyphonic. Most importantly, it sounds great and is fun to use!
