Genesis Duel Battery Kit
This is not an inexpensive kit but that said it makes installing an auxiliary battery easier than any systems I have done in the past. The way its designed your start battery is always protected from being drawn down and unable to start the vehicle while still allowing for the two to function and charge together. It also eliminates the need to locate the auxiliary battery remotely and the usual cabling issues associated with doing that. The toughest part of the installation is getting the OEM parts out. I have owned 8 4X4 vehicles over the years and most have had a duel battery system. This is by far the best one I've used. If you want to add solar to the system just connect your charge controller to the bus bars and you're in business. Great system and worth what you pay for it.
