great easy to use sturdy light weight compact tripod. and gorgeous!
I completely love the tripod. The only small issue I have is with unlocking and raising the center pole. It was so stiff I didn't realize I had it unscrewed and unlocked. I had to really pull hard to raise it. I wonder if I can use some sort of silicone lubricant to make it easier. Other than that I love how quickly I can adjust the legs and how they lock in place with a simple small turn. Very stable and with the sand bag option with the hook at the bottom of the center pole. Also all the height I could ever want and very compact and slick when collapsed. I bought it because I don't want to ever have to buy another tripod. If I do, it will be another Mountaineer that might have to be lighter for hiking.
