Shielded is way better than unshielded!
I use this cable when I stream progressive talk radio from my computer to a small low power transmitter that operates in the FM band. I can tune in my radios in the house (and I have 8 of them!) to whatever unused FM frequency I like and viola'....I can listen anywhere in the house or yard. Was getting a poor signal with the old cable but this new cable is crisp and clear! Price was way better than any local store in my area. Came pretty fast too!

8 of 8 found this helpful If you're like me and refuse to give the Cable or Dish companies any of your money. You recognized that the conversion to digital TV has several underlying objectives. First it was a way to drive the American public to pay for services when “we the people own the airwaves.” Secondly, and more importantly, it was a way to prohibit the public from recording over-the-air broadcast and editing out the commercials. The Magnavox ZV450MW8 DVD Recorder / VCR Combo is the perfect way to overcome both of these concerns! Digital converter boxes do not! This machine allows users to pre-program and record multiple channels on either a VHS tape or a DVD RW to be played back at your convenience and can be recorded over multiple times. The picture quality is nearly perfect with a few exceptions. Most of the signal problems have been addressed and is not the fault of the ZV450MW8. If you look at this as an investment and you purchase the equipment (ZV450MW8 ~ $100/Good antenna ~ $75/ VHS tapes or DVD RW ~ $25) your initial investment is around $200. The vast majority of cable/dish services run around $20/month. Your return on investment is less than a year! It is worth it!

OEM for way less than my dealership wanted!

I hope to preserve my "hatchback carpet" during the snowboard season. Priced way less than what my local dealership wanted. Great value!
