Ingenious Item!
The concept seems excellent and it should be must easier to go from iron sights to an alternate system. What I don't know at this point, is how well it will hold up to actual use. But for now, I'm giving it the benefit of the doubt.

Does the Job!
Device slips on quickly and easily and does not involve removal of the castle nut. Locks up securely and will accept a wide variety of slings. I see no readily apparent reason why anyone would wish to go to the additional bother and time involved with using the other type.

GREAT MYSTERY
If you are a fan of whodunit mysteries, you will like this offering from Elaine Viets; indeed, you should like every title in this dead-end jobs series. I have the entire set and found them to be most enjoyable.
